सोमवार को मेंथा ऑयल में जोरदार तेजी देखने को मिली. आज सुबह 10 बजकर 40 मिनट पर मेंथा ऑयल का फरवरी कॉन्ट्रैक्ट 23.30 रुपये या 2.05 फीसदी के उछाल से 1162.50 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर पहुंच गया. शुक्रवार को मेंथा ऑयल का फरवरी वायदा 1.16 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 1139.20 रुपये किलो पर बंद हुआ था.

Crude Oil prices are expected to trade lower today: Angel Broking

On Tuesday, WTI Crude prices declined by 1.00 percent to close at $59.6 per barrel as the Coronavirus outbreak in China raised severe demand concerns for fuel. WTI Crude prices continued its long losing streak as markets expected that the economic damage due to the Virus outbreak might dent the demand for fuel. Moreover, the economic fallout in China, the biggest crude consumer further weighed on the prices. OPEC+ stated that they might further trim their production activities to fight back the possible chances of a squeeze on global oil demand which has pushed the prices lower. Excessive supply cuts by OPEC might provide some support for Crude.

Gold futures steady at Rs 39,959 per 10 gram

Gold prices are trading steady around Rs 39,950 per 10 gram levels in futures trade on February 5 as speculators created fresh short positions.

Navneet Damani, Vice President, Motilal Oswal, said gold prices eased further amid newsflow in the market surrounding the coronavirus outbreak and measures taken by the Chinese government to maintain economic stability. With China’s efforts to support the economy were jolted by the outbreak, economic data emerging from the US is also putting pressure on metal prices.

Gold little changed as firm dollar offsets virus worries

Gold prices were little changed on Tuesday as a firm dollar countered concerns about a rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak in China and its economic fallout.

Spot gold was unchanged at $1,575.67 per ounce by 0331 GMT, after hitting its highest since Jan. 8 at $1,591.46 in the previous session. U.S. gold futures fell 0.2% to $1,580.00.

"It is the uncertainty around coronavirus that continues to be supportive for gold prices," said ING analyst Warren Patterson, adding that the metal would remain fairly well-supported unless there is more clarity on what the impact will be on the Chinese as well as the global economy.


Hong Kong has reported its first death from the coronavirus, the second fatality outside mainland China from an outbreak that has killed 425 people, while Beijing allowed U.S. health experts into the country to help fight the fast-spreading flu-like virus.

हाजिर में सोना 281 रुपये, चांदी 712 रुपये टूटी

नई दिल्ली: वैश्विक बाजारों में नरमी के बीच दिल्ली सर्राफा बाजार में दोनों कीमती धातुओं में गिरावट दर्ज की गयी. एचडीएफसी सिक्योरिटीज के अनुसार, सोने का भाव 281 रुपये टूटकर 41,748 रुपये प्रति 10 ग्राम पर आ गया. इससे पिछले दिन के करोबार में सोना 42,029 रुपये पर बंद हुआ था.

Base metals jump; here is how others may fare today

Base metals jumped as China's central bank said it would inject 1.2 trillion yuan ($174 billion) worth of liquidity into the markets via reverse repo operations on Monday. China is the biggest consumer of these metals. 

Nickel gained 0.28 per cent to Rs 946.70, while copper was up 0.41 per cent to Rs 428.10. Zinc mini edged up 0.49 per cent to 174.85. 

Gold and silver, however, saw profit booking. Gold futures fell 0.40 per cent to Rs 41,039 per 10 gram and silver futures shed 1.

Bullion flat ahead of the Union Budget Moneyplant research

Bullion counters were flat ahead of the Union Budget as traders waited to see what Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had in her kitty before taking a decision. 

Gold was down 0.06 per cent at Rs 41,047 per 10 grams and silver futures were down 0.06 per cent to Rs 46,886 per kg. 

Commodity and equity markets across the world are closed for trading today. 

Globally, spot gold rose 0.87 per cent at $1,587.5 an ounce, while US gold futures settled 0.1 per cent lower at $1,
